I DID IT! Still don't quite believe it BUT I RAN 13 miles! It was ridiculously HOT so I took on water at ALL opportunities so much so that I was ACTUALLY sloshing inside at the finish line! Undulating is an understatement it is BLOOMING HILLY and mile 6-7 was a killer! Energy gels ARE officially disgusting BUT a jelly baby in tiny nibbles is heaven as was crossing THAT finish line AND supping that 1st 🍺 NECTAR! My toes were total blisters BUT my legs didn't fall off I SURVIVED! My support was AMAZING esp Sophie who threw down THAT gauntlet

TLF here. Sadly I am a non-runner tomorrow, a bulging disc apparently doesn't lend itself to running 13 miles. Will be there though to cheer on my amazing running partner. A massive thanks to all our brilliant and generous supporters. I will be running an autumn half-marathon to keep good our deal! TLF

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your support REALLY REALLY makes the pain of training worthwhile. To surpass the £500 total is AWESOME! Training has been tough in this hot weather but all done now bar 2 short runs and a swim. Can't believe it's less than a week to the actual run but I'm as ready as I'll ever be and all ready for that first pint once I cross that finish line!
