Story
Chui and I will be walking the entire length of the National Three Peaks Challenge in June. No cars in between peaks and a few detours along the way! This mostly off road walk will see us completing a distance of around 1000kms entirely on foot and carrying necessary kit with us including camping gear, food and water. We aim to complete it in around 35 days. That means an average distance of around 17 miles per day carrying around 15kg between us. Of course this will include the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon.
We will be mostly wild camping on route but anyone wishing to ride over and offer us cake/chocolate/doggy chews out of their top box along the way are more than welcome! Please feel free to get involved. If you live on route then the odd offer of a hot shower wouldn't go amiss either! :)
If we can raise £100 a day we will reach our target! It's a tall order but I'm hoping lots of people will get behind what I truly believe to be a worthwhile cause.
This event is being kindly supported by Blacks , Ruffwear® and Whitby & Co.
We hope to raise awareness for two amazing charities.
Support Dogs UK - We are a charity that provide, train and support specialist assistance dog partnerships to increase the independence and quality of life for those affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability
Service Dogs UK - Service Dogs UK trains and provides assistance dogs to support members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services who have PTSD. We use dogs from rescue centres to achieve unique partnerships that will greatly enhance the lives of both. We will continue to support the partnerships as part of our ongoing commitment to ‘those that serve’, past or present.
