We are raising the money for the African Development Association and all our proceeds will be transferred to the charity.

Current Situation

Up to 12 million people across Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia and Kenya are in urgent need of food assistance as severe drought has caused a humanitarian crisis.

The drought in Somalia has been partly caused by the El Nino weather phenomenon which has affected east and southern Africa.
As well as the lack of food caused by the drought, there are many cases of dehydration.

Domestic animals are also dying in large numbers, and carcasses litter the landscape.

Currently, almost three million people in Somalia face food insecurity. It has been reported that dozens of deaths occured due to cholera in the country, the disease is often spread due to lack of clean drinking water.

How the money will be used and what we intend to do:

The money will be used to:

- feed those who have been stricken with poverty and famine

- send beneficial supplies and materials to those effected in Somalia
- assist women and children who have been stricken severely
