Andrew's Hedgehog Hospital is a local registered charity in Appleby who take in and care for sick, injured and underweight hedgehogs year round. They receive no funding other than what they raise themselves.
Eleanor and I have been volunteering there since early December and can vouch for what a wonderful charity this is run by 2 amazing people in their home.
They are currently raising funds to install 12 new hutches for their overwintering and recovery barn and to ensure an adequate supply of food for the rescued hedgehogs.
We will be doing a sponsored swimathon on Sunday 12 February and are hoping you will be able to sponsor us towards our fundraising goal.
