I'm hoping to raise some money for my disabled parent who needs some basic home equipment that we just can't afford.

After 4 months in hospital, Karen's care needs at home have changed. We now need new equipment to make life easier for both her and her full time carer Peter. I've attached pictures of everything needed so you can see what your money is going towards and how it's going to help.

Karen spent 3 months in intensive care and a further month on a ward, she over came life support and managed to come off of a tracheostomy that doctors thought she'd have to have forever. After such an incredible battle for such a long period of time, making home life the best it can be is our main priority. Any help you can provide, 1p or more is so greatly appreciated.

In the pictures below you'll see a U-Turner (www.theuturner.com) which will allow Peter to turn Karen alone, without help, both safely and comfortably. You will aslo see a overbed/chair table for Karen to use when in bed and in her wheelchair at meal times. There is also a repose boot to prevent friction and sores on mums legs when in bed.
