Weʼve raised £210 to buy a new Laser dinghy for my daughter so she can get back to training in the autumn following her knee surgery in March.

Story
Leila began sailing at age 9 and progressed onto the RYA Olympic pathway through squads very quickly, She is a city kid and has to travel a lot to sail in different waters. This can be very expensive for accomodation and travel with boat. She had wear and tear on her knee which resulted in an emergency operation in March 2018, her recovery is slow but she is hoping to begin training again in October 2018 so we are hoping to use this time to upgrade her boat to a newer one ready for next years qualifiers.
