At the start of May Pamela Lomax was just leaving hospital with her husband after a routine check up when she suffered a massive stroke , the doctors conformed afterwards that if she was not at the hospital when it happened she would never have survived.
She has been bedridden ever since as unlike here in the UK rehabilitation is not high on the priority list in Cyprus, it is usually left to the families and as all Pamela`s family is based in the UK this part of the recovery is being missed out on , also due to the fact that medical bills and expenses are fast approaching £50,000 , so finances to get further treatment have been drained .
Her best chance for a recovery is by being brought home by road on a ambulance as coming home by plane is too risky, so this is what the money is being raised for to give Pamela hope.
