Story
On December 13, 2014 Marcin suffered a brain aneurysm, then he had a stroke and had only 2% to survive. It was very bad, Marcin fought with sepsis, his brain started to swell so it was necessary to perform a craniotomy. Marcin was in a coma for over a month. Doctors said that maybe he will never wake up even if he wakes up he will function as a vegetable, won't be able to speak, breathe independently or swallow. But Marcin survived it all, he is talking in two languages. He is fully aware , his memory is very good he remembers things from the past and what is now happening. His left side of his body is paralyzed, that's why he needs rehabilitation. Marcin was waiting more than 17 months for refitting the bones of the skull (cranioplasty), but the operation did not to end up good. The skull was badly sealed and now cerebrospinal fluid is leaking outside his skull. Marcin's head circumference is 66.5 cm at this moment. He needs another operation shunt and subsequent intensive neurorehabilitation. He wants to be back to normal life with his family.
