Story
I have been watching the heartbreaking news from Aleppo and Yemen. While we are rushing around worrying about getting the last minute "must have" presents for Christmas many mums and dads in other parts of the world are worried that their children could be killed in an air strike or be forced to watch their parents and siblings being brutally murdered. In a season of "goodwill toward men" this is even more upsetting! I have signed petitions, donated what I can afford and have asked my parents to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières as my Christmas present but it isn't enough. I want to do more!
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been providing drugs and supplies to health facilities inside east Aleppo, including lifesaving surgical kits and medical equipment. Due to the siege only a few dozen doctors and surgeons are left to care for hundreds of thousands of people in dire need. Medical staff face an unknown future, with limited supplies, limited space, and no way to refer patients beyond the siege lines. They are risking their lives every day and need help.

In Yemen Armed conflict escalated into a full-scale war in 2015, exacerbating already massive medical and humanitarian needs and severely restricting access to healthcare. MSF has been working in 11 hospitals and health centres in Yemen and providing support to another 18 hospitals or health centres. Despite air strikes on hospitals and ambulances there are more than 2,000 MSF staff in the country, they need our support and I want to help!

Sooooo....I have decided to shave my head to raise money for MSF! Anyone who knows me knows that I love my long hair! I was not blessed with 'pixie' features so bald will not be a good look on me 😂.
It comes down to the fact that looking like Ross Kemp for a while is a small price to pay if it can help the brave doctors and nurses of MSF.
