Story
Hello All!
My name is Katherine and i’m 17 years old.
As some of you might already know, I have been awarded a place to study a three year BA Acting Course at the presigeous private British Drama school ALRA South (London) or ALRA North (Wigan). I’m unable to describe how incredibly lucky I am to have been gifted this opportuinty by securing one of the 32 available spaces a year. It was from my performance in a play called OCHO, (written by the BAFTA winning playwright Jane Thornton) that the Principle of the drama school himself, scouted me out from the cast and offered me this once in a lifetime opportunity.
This is where I reach out to the kind and generous nature of others. I am currently working two jobs alongside studing for two A-Levels and a BTEC, to save as much money as possible. I will be holding fundraisers over the next 9 months to try and raise as much financial support as possible to get me through this course, but I can’t do this alone. Ideally I need to raise £10,000 a year to be able to fufill this amazing opportunity.
So here’s my ask, if you are able to donate and support my dream in anyway, I will be eternally grateful and humbled. Even the smallest donation will be gratefully received. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
