Story
The £2000 will be used to get me to Kenya and back, pay for food and the community project we will be doing. The project will be for 10 days. For those 10 days I plan to help an organisation called African Adventures to improve the lives of locals who live there.
There are two roles for me to choose from, Teaching and multi-sport, and Building and Renovation. I hope to be in the teaching and multi-sport team. In this role I plan to interact with the children and help the volunteers that are already there with, assisting the existing teachers with lessons, reading stories, preparing meals, playing games and sports.
I hope to do this volunteer work because I have had a lot of help in my life and I am very fortunate to have this opportunity. I hope that I can share my experiences of life and give the children that live in Kenya a new chance of life and try to improve their community for the better.
