Story
On 29th August I am joining my boyfriends 70yr old Dad, his lovely sister and my awesome Mum as we all face our fears and skydive for charity!
The charity I am jumping for is the East Anglia Air Ambulance.
As many of my friends know, 5 years ago my boyfriend was involved in a terrible road traffic accident - leaving him in a coma for 5 weeks, with many awful injuries, broken bones and the loss of sight in his eye. He was incredibly lucky to make a remarkable recovery.
The East Anglia Air Ambulance came to him at the scene of the accident and literally saved his life.
Rich came into our lives in the years after his accident, and as he re-lives the story of that day, and lives with the aftermath of such difficult injuries and continues to process and come to terms with what happened - the boys and I feel so lucky to have this wonderful man in our lives as things clearly could have been so different.
As you can imagine our family feel forever grateful to the Air Ambulance for the amazing service they provide.
I am determined to raise a decent amount of money for the Air Ambulance, mostly because it will be my motivation to complete the jump! So please give generously towards this incredible and valuable charity.
The Air Ambulance do not receive funding and rely on donations to continue to run. We all hope we never have to use such services but the truth is - if they didn't exist - less lives would be saved.

7 years agoThis is my lovely mum Sue, leaving the plane first! The most conflicting feeling ever watching her tumble out of the plane in front of me! Then beautifully brave Ally - diving for MIND the mental health charity All I cared about after my freefall was knowing 'has everyone's parachute opened' 😂😂😂
