My best friend Amiee is an amazing lady, we have been friends since 1999 when we started senior school together. We lost touch and then found each other again through the powers of Facebook! Since then, despite the distance (she lives in Redcar now) we have become even closer. Earlier this year, we got the devastating news that Amiee had peritoneal cancer, just a few short weeks after her mum was diagnosed with lung cancer. Amiee also has Intercranial Hypertension which means she needs to have a shunt to ensure that the pressures in her head stay stable. The tumours that Amiee has are travelling alongside her shunt and have now spread to her rectum. Last week we got the heartbreaking news that the chemo hasn't worked and that Amiee's cancer is incurable. She is having hormone therapy which will prolong her life, but we don't know how long for. Amiee is and always has had just three loves.....her furbabies (3 Jack Russels....2 of which are only puppies), Disney and Blue (the really hot boyband :D) Amiee would love to be able to go back to Disney World in Florida one last time amongst other places and I would love to help her fullfill her last wishes. She wants to make lots of happy memories! I am organising various fundraising events but I would love your help please.
