Story
Back to Africa- this time Uganda.
To finish my Children's nursing studies we get to choose an elective placement, which me and some others have chosen to go to Uganda. Where we will be working in the Capital in a hospital to help aid children's health. Also will be spending time in the community where we shall be health promoting and educating and giving equipment to those in need. Also along with vaccinating.
We shall be working closely with charities such as KISS, Hands for hope and Kids club Kampala. I shall be working with these charities for 4 weeks over June/July 2018.
To help raise money for these charities and for my travel to Uganda, I shall be taking part in the glow in the park run- which is a 5km run. Which means that I defiantly need to start some exercise.
Please give as much or as little as you can. Thank You.
Kayleigh
