On 5th July 2016 my family and I received the worst possible news. Our 'baby boy' had cancer. We were told he has a Mast Cell Tumour in his Mandibular Lymph Node (which is the Lymph Node in his neck). Fletcher has had tests, ultrasound and treatment but unfortunately this type of cancer cannot be operated on as it is classed as high grade. We have been advised by a Specialist Oncologist that the best treatment for Fletcher is the 'Designer' Tablets which are called Masitinib. Since July we have spent a total of £3,300.00. Fletcher is doing well on the Masitinib tablets and he will need to stay on them continuously with monthly blood tests. Fletcher has to have 2 tablets per day and each pot of tablets (30 tablets ) are costing £167.32 for 15 days supply.
