My wonderful friend Kelly Stabb is 38 years old. Kelly is married to Simon and has two Son’s Jake aged 10 and Luke aged  8.
Kelly has always been super fit and up until last year had barely had a day off work. In January 2017 after a few weeks of being unwell Kelly received the devastating news that she had stage 4 Bowel Cancer that had spread to her Liver. During 2017 Kelly underwent two major operations on her bowel and liver and 6 months of chemotherapy. Following all of this treatment the belief by Kelly and the medical professionals was that she would hopefully be cancer free.
In January 2018 Kelly received further devastating news. The cancer had now spread to various other parts of her body. Kelly is now described by NHS medical professionals as a ‘complicated case’, they now say that they cannot cure her and have offered ‘Life prolonging’ treatments. It is not yet known if alternative treatments outside the NHS are available but second opinions are being sought. Funding will assist with seeking these opinions and any possible treatment recommendations.
Kelly already has a Just Giving page that she set up for ‘Bowel Cancer West’. Within weeks Kelly’s smashed this target and raised over £11,000! I know Kelly would never want to ask for money for a personal cause which is why I am setting up this page. It is now time to start focusing the fund raising on Kelly and what we can do give her the best possible chance.
Anyone who has seen Kelly recently will not believe this can be true, she looks so amazing and is still such a positive inspirational person with a zest for life. She has her 2 gorgeous boys, a wonderful husband, family and friends all who love her dearly. She is certainly not ready to give this fight up so let’s all do what we can to give her every chance. Please donate what you can and share this page.
