Kettleshulme St James Primary school is a small rural school, at the heart of a village community. We are a family orientated school with Christian values and an ethos of which to be proud. The school itself is nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Goyt Valley and we pride ourselves or our caring, and happy environment.

The school has a very productive and enthusiastic PTA who work tirelessly to provide a range of activities, experiences and resources for the school, it’s children and their families. While the PTA raises a significant amount, at present we are looking for a sizeable chunk of fundraising to assist the school with the completion of its new library. The library itself will make a huge difference to the school and the opportunities it will offer the children. The exterior of the building is almost complete but we are aiming to raise around £3,000 in order to finish the interior, decorate and furnish it to a standard we feel the school deserves.

Being a small village school, we do rely heavily on the support of those involved...and this is where crowdfunding comes in! The funds needed to aid the completion of the library will sadly mean we will be unable to support the wide range of resources that provide each year - whether this be transport costs, trips, vital resources or the little added extras that the children deserve.

By setting up a crowdfunding page, we hope we can continue to provide the financial support that we have done each year. And this is where you come in! If you can spare a few hard earned pounds to aid this worthy cause then please do. We appreciate that we have a small school with a relatively small network around it, however with your help we can reach our goals.
