I am running the Athens marathon in November 2017 in aid of the great work that the Bangladesh Association for Sustainable Development (BASD) do in Southern Bangladesh to strengthen poor communities that have been badly affected or even destroyed by climate change. BASD strengthen the communities to be more resilient, develop sustainable/eco-friendly livelihoods and provide better nutrition and education for children. I have worked with BASD for over 6 years and visited the project areas many times and have seen the great work that they do. I hope that the donations raised from running the marathon will help BASD to support more families to have brighter futures.
