This year Khushi’s Dunfermline won both ‘Best Loved Indian Restaurant’ in south East Scotland and ‘Best Loved Indian Restaurant’ in Scotland at the Scottish Curry Awards. At the time we announced that we would be making a charitable donation to say a huge thank you to our supporters and community and we requested nominations. Many nominations were received but by far the majority votes were for local group, West Fife Guide Dogs. We are pleased to announce we will be donating £2,000 to this dedicated team of volunteers representing Guide Dogs.

For a donation of £2,500 we can have the privilege of ‘Donating a Name’, the first gift a guide dog puppy receives. To help us achieve this goal we are asking for your support to raise the remaining £500 required, by donating what you can. Every pound makes a difference. At the same time, in the comments box, we’d love to hear your suggestions for an appropriate name for a puppy. Names are subject to approval by Guide Dogs and names of one or two syllables are preferred i.e Max 1 syllable, Tob-y 2 syllables.

Please help us transform the life of someone who is blind or partially sighted by making your donation and naming another little ‘life changer’.

We will be presenting West Fife Guide Dogs with their donation during National Guide Dog Week (6th-14th October) when the winning name will be revealed.
