After finding 2 puppies on our hotel resort in turkey on our first night, I started feeding them Doogie soon appeared but wasn't like the other dogs. He was super friendly and wasn't as interested in the food but just being with me. He followed me around all evening & back to my hotel after the others had disappeared. One night I was watching the kids disco and turned around to see him sitting next to me. He had picked up my smell and found me. Then eveynight he just layed by my side. Other guests saw him sitting outside the verrander bar after I had gone in hotel to bed, all night to the early hours. He then came looking for me in the day after we had gone out for the day and found the exact chair I had been sitting on! As the days went on we became closer and a felt an overwhelming bond with him I felt he just wanted to be with someone and not alone! He even waited outside the kids club one night after I had told him to wait for me as he couldn't come in. And was still there when I come out.
I wasn't looking for another dog and always said my next dog would find me!
The cost involved of bringing him back to the uk just isn't something I can do by myself. And it's going to be a lengthy process but at the end of it a happy ending! He is currently in a foster home where he will stay before he begins his journey home which will be early december due to the wait for the rabies vaccine and tests.
The there could be extras involved but I've added up all the vet fees, boarding fees and the cost of travel to give the figure requested. The money raised (minus just giving fees) will all go towards the cost of bringing him home. Obviously once home keeping him is down to me. All extra money made will be donated to the rescue lady Tulay Avci in turkey to help her feed, aquire vetinary treatment and rescue more dogs off the streets. She helps hundreds of dogs and all on a voluntarty basis Out of her oWn pocket. And is desperate to find a bigger place to be able to help more. She cares when others turn away.

Dogs are kept up in the hills to protect peoples chickens but left chained up for weeks with no food or water!!!?? And no vetinary treatment so more often keft to die like this? Tülay regulary goes up the hills to feed and treat these poor abandoned dogs sometimes taking them and rehoming them.

Tülay haseben managed to rescue an old mule that was left abandoned tied up after thevowners had left. It was starving and in middle if no where with no shelter. she has found somewhere to kerp it safe warm and dry in the winter abd is paying for the rent of the building abd feeding it herself.
