Yaxley Public Hall was built in 1921 as a memorial to the Yaxley boys who lost their lives in WW1.
Many groups throughout the years have used the hall and has been a big part of Yaxley village.
As time has gone on the wear and tear of the building now need some attention.
Yaxley Amatuer Players and Yaxley Amatuer Player youth group, Table tennis and Norman Cross Crusaders are frequent users of the hall. The children of the youth group really love the drama group and it's a great way to bring the younger generation together. The shows that are performed are popular and a great experience. As you can imagine it is costly to run a hall of this size and to maintain the up keep. Unfortunately the toilets are in dire need of being replaced. Some general maintainence work is also required. We would like the group's,especially the children, to continue to make use of the hall and encourage more people to take advantage of this lovely space.
