Iʼve raised £350 to support a local boy Felix after a terrible accident. His recovery has inspired me to learn to cycle, and then join this 45 mile event!

Story
On 1st July, I am going to cycle 45 miles in support of local boy called Felix. That may not sound like much, but I've never cycled before! Felix, on the other hand, was a very promising young athlete up to the point where he sustained life-threatening injuries in an accident. I felt awful for his family, then kept hearing stories of people doing new sporty things to raise money for Fit For Felix, a campaign set up to support his recovery.
I have been inspired by Felix's drive to get himself well and fit. In turn, he has managed to inspire so many others to raise money through sporting events, including me. I would like to use my cycle ride to raise funds for Felix. There is lots of information about the campaign on the website www.fitforfelix.com/aim, including details of the charities they support:
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA)
Southampton General Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
