So…Hair, Nails & Beauty are celebrating 10 years in business by holding a charity ball to raise £10,000 on Saturday 16th November 2019 at Bo Peep Farm (Adderbury).

The event is being held in the hopes of raising as much money possible for two very important local charities.

The Horton General Hospital charity needs no introduction to most people in this area and any funds we can raise will contribute directly to The Brodey Centre, providing vital Medical Equipment, Specialist Training and improvements to the hospital environment to ensure your hospital visit is as positive experience as possible

Our second chosen charity is Oxfordshire Mind who assist 20,000 people with mental health challenges per year in the area. They promote good mental health through high quality services and campaigns for positive change. The money raised will go directly to helping them support more people affected by mental health problems in Oxfordshire.

As part of the fabulous team at So, I thought it was important to contribute and try to do something related to our business to raise as much money as possible. It wasn’t too difficult to come up with an idea, a charity hair-cut….

After witnessing a close friend do something similar I decided it was the right thing to do. Yes, I will be shaving all my own hair off for charity.

When I proposed to my husband Ben my intentions, you could understand he was initially nervous about the thought, but rather than object - he has also decided to join me and get his head shaved for charity too. (Anyone that knows him will know how prescious he is about his hair). So…

At So, Hair Nails and Beauty in Parson St, Banbury on Tuesday 20th August at 12:00pm - we will both be going under the clippers for a tag team head shave. We hope you can sponsor as much or little as you like or even pop down and witness the event in person. Either way its all in the name of fun, for a great cause and we appreciate your support.
