Firstly, as the title page shows, this place provided a peaceful and kind place for my dad to spend his final hours as he was too ill to be at home. I'll forever be thankful he died here rather than in hospital.
Secondly the Dutchess of Kent charity shop in Tilehurst got broken into recently causing £1200 worth of damage.
Lastly, hospices only get 15% of their funding from the government. The rest they have to find themselves.
So please sponsor me for the sprint triathlon I'm doing on 2nd September and all money will go directly to the Dutchess of Kent.
