    Story

There are many institutions that raise money for Ukraine, but help on the border itself is equally important. Without us and our hard work, these people would have no hope. We provide help which, unfortunately, is costly. Every day we help prepare almost 1,000 liters of soup, 1,500 sandwiches, fruit, sandwiches, 1,000 liters of tea and coffee. We need funds for the preparation of soup, sandwiches, children's sweets, basic hygiene measures. We receive support from our friends from abroad, but it is still not enough. There are waves of refugees ahead of us, hundreds of thousands of people to feed and seek help. We ask for your support so that we can continue our work for mothers and children fleeing the war.

As a Pole, I am proud that my country helps Ukrainian refugees to the greatest extent. More than 1.5 million people have crossed the border with my country. Most of the refugees found shelter in Polish private homes.

Millions of people have fled their homes to the west of Ukraine, where no hostilities have yet been carried out. 5 million are expected to flee to my country.

I live 2 miles from the border with Ukraine, in close proximity to two border crossings in Budomierz and Hrebenne. Tens of thousands of refugees pass through these border crossing points every day. As a member of our local charity, I try to help refugees.

The situation at the border is very difficult. We have freezing temperatures, people stand 48 hours in 6-mile lines to the border crossing. They have no shelter, no food. Our job is to look after these people.

I raise money to help people waiting in line. people who need help on the other side of the border. All payments will be transferred to the account of my charity organization. In accordance with our status and Polish law, all funds can be spent only for statutory purposes, i.e. helping people in need.

Thanks to the collected funds, hot meals at the border, sweets for children crossing the border will be paid. We also support refugees on the other side, we buy tents with heaters, power generators, sleeping bags, mats.

It is very important for us to have cash. Thanks to them, we can respond to needs that arise suddenly. Our help is directed directly to those in need, everything we send is confirmed with photos to make sure that it has reached the people in need.

The recipients of our help are 100% women and children.

The biggest problem is that the arriving refugees are in a deteriorating physical and mental condition. They come from the regions of the war zone. The first contact on the Polish side is very important to them, especially for children.

All collected funds will be transferred to my charity account in Poland:

    Our previous actions:

    - lots of shoping - food, medicines, sweets for children crossing the border - we do shopping on a regular basis,

    - last week after great donation we were able to buy sets: two 5x10m tents, two 2.2kW generators, two gas heaters that were immediately placed on the other side of the border to help warm up those waiting

This week we had donation from Northern Ireland, 130 sleeping bags, 56 sleeping mats will be send to Lwów for Care in Action foundation that contacted us asking for help. They provide shelter for woman and children.

We were a co-organizer of Kuba Blokesz's charity concert, during which we collected funds for cans:

Yesterday we ordered a power generator with a capacity of 6kw, which is very much needed in the hospital in Lviv. They only have electricity for one hour a day. A very generous seller not only gave us a very promotional price, but also added another with a capacity of 3kw!

Yesterday, we received the first batch of the ordered sleeping mats, which we donated to the Care in Action foundation at the border in Budomierz. They will be used in night shelters that are created in Lviv and other cities in Ukraine. We expect the delivery of 130 sleeping bags and more mats, which we will also donate to the foundation!
