Story
In June we received the devastating news that one of our closest friends Lewis, had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.
Although we were shocked and upset by the news, we wanted to show our support to Lewis in any way we could. So on the 14th August myself, Stephen Jones, Conor Booth and Gary Swanson will be walking approximately 36 miles to Blackpool Tower, a venue which Lewis has attended on many occasions for various dancing competitions.
Any money raised will be going directly to the Haematology Ward at Salford Royal Hospital where Lewis is currently being cared for. We have been assured by Lewis on a daily basis that he is receiving the best treatment and the nurses are looking after him while he continues through this battle, especially at a time where he is unable to see his family or friends because of covid-19.
Please help us reach our target so we can show our thanks and support to Lewis and everyone who is caring for him at Salford Royal.

4 years agoI want to just say a huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far. We didn't expect to receive so much support, so it's greatly appreciated! Tomorrow is the day we'll be venturing on our 36 mile walk to Blackpool. We'll give updates as we go along and then once we get there, providing we make it 🤞😂 I'll be keeping the page open to donations for now, so for anyone who hasn't donated yet and can spare some cash, we would be very thankful!
