Baby Seren is 7 months old and has TOF (tetralogy of fallot) wich is a heart condition .. TOF is a cardiac abnormality that refers to a combination of 4 related heart defects that commonly accur together! Seren will be having OPEN HEART SURGERY within the next few months !! The surgery intends to make Seren's heart work normally. To do this the heart will be stopped and opened, a machine will have to take over the job that the heart does normally - the heart bypass machine, the surgery will take 5 hours ! Seren will have to stay in Birmingham children's hospital for around 1-2 months then will be monitored at home. This is a life long condition .. There is no cure ! Seren's Mum Emma and Dad Paul will be staying with her for the whole duration in Ronald McDonald house wich is charity run (only 1 parent can stay ) so 1 parent will have to pay for accommodation ! Both parents won't be able to work so without any income they will not be able to keep their house running so that Seren has a home to come back to ! I'm raising money so that Seren's family can keep her home for her .. Any donation, small or big will be a great help ! The government will not give Seren's family help toward any of their expenses while Seren is in hospital .. They are not intitled to any benefits to help them through this horrendous time !
