On Saturday 4th march 2017 Sophie will be swimming in the Basingstoke lions swimathon. This is a sponsored team relay over 30 minutes and this year I will be swimming alongside Sophie (🙈😂😳). The Basingstoke lions have chosen to support Sophies swimming squad with the proceeds, in particular two of Sophies friends Cameron and Scott who are this year swimming in the special olympics this summer. they are also splitting the proceeds with Sophie school swimming team which will go to the continuing support for children like Sophie who have been seen to have potential in swimming. they provide a free swimming programme once a week.

Sophie swims with the bluefins disability team twice a week, with a view to progressing to swimming in the paralympics in the future. They are a specialist squad who support those with multiple disabilities with the focus on abilty not disability. we have seen how much swimming has made a difference to Sophie and would like to support her team members.
Any donation would be greatly received no matter how big or small!
