As many of you know, the beginning of this year was a difficult time for us all. thankfully, thanks to the amazing work by doctors and the very important fact of having a DEFIB near, my husband is here today.
This has made us all realise how important it is to have a defibrillator near in case this happens to someone else.
On Sunday 18th November, myself along with family and friends will be climbing Pen-Y-Fan to begin fundraising for a defib for my school (Cwmffrwdoer Primary School), in the hope that we will eventually raise the total funds to purchase one. This will provide access to the local community as well as our School.
