As my family and a few of my friends may know, my mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was doing great after chemotherapy and was happy and bubbly, even after all she was going through, living alone, cooking for herself, cleaning for herself, making time for her friends and family but sadly its all gone down hill.

My mum started getting a lot of pain in her arm and it swelled right up. After speaking to the hospital and having scans, they have confirmed my mums cancer has spread again and got a lot worse. Her lymph nodes are no longer working which has caused her arm to swell and her cancer is pressing down on a nerve. She can't drive, she can't even do her own hair, she can't cut up toast, she's literally living in her own four walls. She is due to fly to Thailand for 2 weeks to enjoy her last holiday before she gets too ill. But unfortunately the hospital have said she cannot go unless she gets insurance because of anything bad was to happen she needs to be able to fly home and her costs need to be covered. Unfortunately this is around £450 and we just do not have the funds to give to her. I'd give her my last penny if i had it all.

She's too embarrassed to ask anyone for help but yet all she does is help others.

She's housebound, can't leave as she's in too much pain and now she's been prescribed morphine to try and help her.

So please, my friends and family if you could all just leave a small donation, no matter how small it may be, it'll all help her make her dream come true before she's too poorly.

I'm not the sort of person to ask for help and this is embarrassing to do but I just want to help my mum achieve her goal. Everyday she's crying, she's sad, she's in pain, she just wants this last holiday as long as she's not too poorly by then. She flies out at the end of August.
