I’m a professional tennis player from East London and I’ve been playing tennis since I was 3 years old. My current WTA doubles ranking is 287 and my current WTA singles ranking is 837. Since 2017, I’ve had an ongoing wrist injury that has forced me to seek surgery for the second time. In 2019, when I attended Arizona State University, I had a full TFCC repair surgery on my right wrist. Shortly after this surgery, I experienced severe pain in the same wrist. After 3 years of doctors appointments, and physiotherapy, I’ve been told I have a “complex wrist”, along with a few other problems that were discovered when I had several X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound investigations. I have now decided to take my doctor‘s advice and go down the route of surgery.

Some of my previous achievements consist of competing at Junior Wimbledon, becoming the U14, U16, and U18 British National Champion for both singles and doubles. At university, my partner and I were the No.1 ranked doubles team in the United States becoming the first tandem in school history to earn the ranking. Recently, I’ve won six doubles titles and reached three singles quarterfinals, beating players ranked as high as WTA 315. Despite competing throughout 2023, I’ve struggled to consistently perform at the highest level due to my excruciating pain.

I have big aspirations and I’m willing to put in the hard work to achieve my goals. Such as playing all four grand-slams within the next three years and being ranked inside the top 150 for WTA doubles and top 500 for WTA singles by the end of 2024. Getting surgery is the best option to ensure I give myself the best opportunity to reach these goals.

This money would be exceedingly helpful as it would help towards the cost of my surgery. As well as this, it would reduce the financial pressure prior to the surgery and during rehab as I’ll be receiving zero prize money and have the inability to earn money from coaching as I’ll be in a cast. Coaching is something I‘m very passionate about and enjoy doing whilst I compete throughout the year. After a successful tennis career, I would love to give back to the sport and use my knowledge and experience to provide as much support as I can.

A wrist issue that started in 2017 has caused a dent in my career. Surgery can fix this and get me back on court. Which is why I need your support.
