    Story

I am eager to help local communites through various different projects as well as offering warmth and kindness to the people I encounter along my journey. I am excited to experience different cultures and help contribute to the work of this amazing project.

Please help me to help them reach their goal.

I am going to Tanzania for 10 weeks in January 2018 with The Leap Project which works towards building, renovation, environmental clean ups, planting trees, teaching and supporting local communities including an orphanage. These include St. Pascazia Centre (English Medium School), Olevolos Childrens Centre, Machwa Primary School and the Blue Bird Kindergarten School .

All these schools and centres have limited funds and need to provide a better teaching environment for their children. The aim here is to contribute to their teaching facilities through building better floors or painting educational murals, times-tables and other visual teaching aids on the walls.

Amani Orphanage was established in 2009 to provide a home to forty children aged between 3 and 12, from diverse backgrounds, many of whom lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, and have suffered a great deal of poverty and hardship. We will be helping construct and improve the sleeping accommodation and living environments of the children who the Orphanage looks after as well as helping them to practice their english. I will be supporting an initiative to grow and replant native trees to help reverse the effects of deforestation, vital to the regeneration of the area as it prevents erosion and protects the environment. The aim is to plant 10,000 new trees, educate families on sustainable forestry and the importance of conserving the environment. The project also aims to promote the use of solar and fuel saving ovens, which require little or no wood to create heat.

Thank you for visiting my page, any donation, however small, will be hugely appreciated. Alll your donations will be spent directly on the people.
