In July 2018 I am going on a life changing trip to Tanzania with my school (Newton Abbot College) and Camps International who are an organisation that give people like me an opportunity to do volunteering and help local communities who need it. I will be volunteering for a month and while I am there I will be helping out with various projects for example, building wells, schools and markets for the locals. All projets are set up by Camps International and 42% of the money I raise will be going towards those stainable projects. To be able to go on this trip I need to raise £3790. So far I have raised just over £2000, I have done this through car washing every Saturday which I started in November 2016 and which I am hoping to carry on until my trip in July. Along with this I have done other fundraising activities for example a coffee morning and a car boot sale , however, I still have over £1000 to raise to be able to go on this life changing trip. The trip is not only going to be life changing for me but also for the communities in Tanzania. The work which has already been done over there through the projects supported by Camps International has been greatly appreciated, and been really beneficial, so I would be so grateful if you could donate a couple of pounds towards my trip as the projects I will be helping with will continue to help to the communities to develop and have a stainable way of living.
