Leanne is 39 years old and is a community care and support worker and lives and works in East Kilbride near Glasgow .She is also a proud and loving mum to her two young children.(both under 6yrs of age )
Leanne was diagnosed with a deep skull based brain tumour and we are looking to raise £20,000 from kind and caring people who are willing to donate so Leanne can live a full and active life with her children.
Leannes tumour sits in a very dangerous place on top of her spinal column and because there is no Gamma knife machines in any Scottish NHS hospital or private we are forced to look for donations to get treatment hopefully in England.
Unfortunately Gamma machines only work on brain tumours up to a certain size and time is of the essence for Leanne. GAMMA KNIFE machines are over 90% successful on stopping tumours growing further and this would be the absolute best outcome for her...if it is possible for anyone to donate Leanne and friends / family would be eternally grateful .Thank you for taking the time to read Leannes story please share and help....
