On the 11 June 2021, I will be completing the Welsh 3000s. In short, I will have 24 hours to climb all 15 of Snowdonia's peaks, including two Grade 1 scrambles 😳 across 3 mountain ranges (all on foot). This is going to be an incredibly brutal challenge and one that will push me, physically and mentally to limits I have not reached before; but I am doing it for a cause so worthy and one I feel so passionate about, it will make the struggle seem worthwhile.

So, some of you will know that earlier in the year I spent a week volunteering at Jacobs Ridge Animal Sanctuary, and it was one of the best weeks of my life. To see first hand the hard work, dedication and love that goes into the running of the Ridge, was incredible and a huge eye opener.

Jacobs Ridge Animal Sanctuary, is a non-profit sanctuary in Mula, Spain who care for over 130 animals. Over the last seven years they have rescued animals who were bound for slaughter. They started with their troublesome duo, Jacob and Nero and from there have grown incredibly.

They sanctuary relies soley on the volunteers and donations made, to be able to provide the food, care and vets bills for all the animals, 365 days a year. Julian and Rachael are passionate and inspiringly dedicated, working day in, day out to give these beautiful creatures the best possible life they can.

The sanctuary is such a special place and the importance of places like this cannot be underestimated; these guys provie a safe haven for all sorts of animals Including dogs, cats, pigs, horses, goats and donkeys; animals who have been abused or rescued from slaughter and they provide them with all the love they can possibly give together with a little piece of paradise for them to live out their days.

They are quite simply AMAZING ❤️
