    Story

After an amazing response & overwhelming generosity from Lee's last appeal, we were able to visit Aaron whenever possible and get things that he needs while he's in hospital. We are asking again for help to buy him an electric wheelchair.
On the 17th Sept 2016 our son was in a no fault car crash which left him fighting for his life at Kings Hospital, London. Aaron sustained massive brain injuries and had emergency surgery, removing part of his skull to stem the bleeding which caused more damage. After months of intensive care and then in the high dependacy unit the doctors told us he will be hospital bound for the rest of his life. But our son had other ideas and took it upon himself to come back a bit to us this then lead to him being moved to Royal hospital for neuro rehabilitation in Putney. Here he's made some improvements and is now classed as being in a minimally conscious state. Aaron will be coming home soon and we intend to give him the best life possible. As we live near the beach a lot of the roads around us are full of pot holes including the road down to his sister and her family, which means the manual wheelchair he will be given when he leaves rehab will not be able to cope on these conditions. This would unintentionally make him house bound which is something none of us want.
The electric wheelchair we want will give Aaron the chance to get out and about and around his familiar surroundings, thus giving a better life and hopefully will aid his brain rehabilitation. Aaron has spent 10 months aready in hospital and we want and need him home as its killing us being apart so long. He will not recieve any insurance payout or compensation so everything extra he needs we need to fund ourselves. This is so hard and we cannot get any funding for it as he is unable to drive it himself.
If you can help to support Aaron in any way and give him a better chance of a life please donate what you can.
    Thank you Ian & Dawn
