Story
My name is Caitlyn Gillie and I am a S5 pupil from Galashiels Academy. In June 2017 I am going to Bolivia as part of the Borders Exploration Group (BEG), where we will spend 3 weeks helping and supporting local projects.
I am currently actively fund raising for this (I need to raise £2,200) through various initiatives, I am also working in a local café at weekends and using all this money towards my trip. So far I have raised £600 but still have a way to go!
I fully appreciate how lucky I am to be getting such an opportunity at the age of 16, so I have decided to start a blog and will start writing about my 16th year in general and my travels/fundraising – caitlynstravels.simplesite.com
I am writing today, to ask if you would like to sponsor me for my trip to Bolivia, and you will be noted and advertised on my blog for supporting and sponsoring me.
