What is Leicester Holi?

Last year, over 1000 attendees descended upon Abbey Park in the snow to attend Leicester Holi 2018, a first-of-its-kind project in Leicester. It was a family fun day out like no other with an energising blend of culture, history and entertainment both on and off stage.

Why should I donate?

The Leicester Holi committee are a group of volunteers who have been working hard over the last 9 months trying to scope the event, confirm activities and progress with general organisation. In order to make this event a success and to make it viable and sustainable for the future, we request the local community to contribute towards this worthy cause.

Who are we?

This event is a collaboration of 17 community organisations, each having their own respective engaged membership. These diverse organisations provide specialist knowledge and expertise on how to best deliver this event, by working together and combining this knowledge, Leicester Holi will prove to be a great success! All of these organisations are involved in community-focussed endeavours that contribute to making Leicester such an active city. The participation of multiple organisations also ensures involvement of the wider Indian diaspora associated with the varied community groups.
