I have been challenged by friends to complete 60 tasks in my 60th year!! One of these is Tough Mudder on 29th July 2017, which is a 10-12 mile course with 20+ extreme obstacles! As I will only be doing this once, I have chosen to raise money for a local charity close to my heart. Dementia Friend East Riding is a new charity and are committed to helping those affected by dementia.

A quote taken from their website sums up what they are about :-
"We aim to give residents of the East Riding of Yorkshire a greater awareness of dementia and help businesses and other organisations to make small changes to understand the needs of people living with dementia. People living with dementia often feel they are unable to continue living an independent and fulfilling life, this is far from the truth and Dementia Friendly East Riding will encourage those people to remain active through our many projects, activities supported by our partners."

As they are not yet registered for gift aid, I am having to use the crowd funding page, so any support you could provide would be very welcome and much appreciated by the charity.

Tough Mudder is going to test my poor body to its limits, and I would love to be able to raise money whilst doing so.
