I've raised £1000 to Cover the medical costs of living with Chronic Illness: Chronic Fatigue, Severe Hypermobility disorder and Chronic Regional Pain Disorder.

Hello,
I'm Zoe and I am trying to raise funds to the cost of living with multiple chronic illnesses. Thank you for reading, I appreciate the support, even if you only like or share my page I am so greatful.
A lot of what I need to live independantly isn't NHS covered, my wheelchair, sticks, supports etc. are out of pocket. Although hopefully I will soon receive physio therapy. Some of the money raised will go towards travel costs to appointments, prescriptions and exo-skeletal brace supports; which act as the joint leaving the muscles to work rather than waste as with othe supports.
I recently started having an type of siezure (after seeing a neurogist we have a possible diagnosis of Non epileptic attack disorder), which result in multiple severe dislocations in both minor and major joints occur during these attacks .
After a siezure on November 3rd I have had to buy an exo skeleton type hip support due to a full hip dislocation. This was £159. The NHS solution is a lower body cast or surgery. My slow healing rate associated with severe Hypermobility disorder makes surgery a last resort. Should surgery become my only option, I would be out of action for months.
Being in a wheelchair means I loose the muscle structure which keeps my joints stable, physiotherapy and joint supports such as my exo-skeleton allow me to lead a normal life outside of a wheelchair. I fight daily to not be fully wheelchair bound and always use a stick or walking aid. Exo-skeletal supports are expensive, but will transform my life if I can raise the funds for more than one type of brace.
