Story

Hi I'm Liam, I'm 37 from Gravesend in Kent. I have Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus. a tethered Spinal Cord and Syringomyelia (a type of Spinal Cord Injury affecting me at C4/5 and between T1 and T10).
I have been playing Wheelchair Rugby League for three and a half years. My injury has deteriorated in that time, to the level where I need a bespoke, custom made WRL chair to protect my spine from more injury and to allow me to continue to play for Medway Dragons and internationally for Ireland.
These Wheelchair Rugby League Chairs are expensive, a mid range chair costing between £2000-3000.

Thank you all so much! Between this and the money raised on the fundraiser night and a grant from Aspire I'm off to Roma Sports to get fitted for chair on 5/5/17!
