Story
Please support Mackie, Liam and their team raise money in memory of beautiful Sophy taken from us far too soon. Sophy was lovingly cared for by staff at Ninewells Ward 32 and Roxburgh House at the start, and end of this terrible journey. This is our way of saying thanks ❤️
We will be doing 3 cycles to raise money in memory of Sophy.
23rd April: Edinburgh Hospital to Ninewells Ward 32 (approx 72miles)
6th May: Aberdeen Roxburghe House to Dundee Roxburghe House (approx 70miles)
7th May: Edinburgh to Glasgow Canal Path (approx 63miles)
All donations going to these care units.
Here are Sophys' last words she wanted to post as she was Mrs Social Media:
Well that’s me, I’ve gone to “sleep” for good.
I’m at peace now they say but truth be told.. I know I didn’t feel at peace! I felt anger, hurt, and sadness at what I’ve left behind.
I tried to fight and fight, but I’m too tired now and just can’t do it any longer.
Please know your body, please enjoy life, don’t moan over the wee things, book trips, take risks, do what makes you happy, laugh, love..
Thanks to everyone who raised money and gave me so many good memories that I’d have never been able to afford.
If love or money could’ve saved me, then I know I’d be here. My life changed OVER night. From working a job, I adored one day… to being signed off the next.
