Steeton & Eastburn Christmas Lights Group

It is now 7 years since we began to light up Steeton and Eastburn during the run up to Christmas. We have got bigger and brighter each year, but the Covid pandemic over the last two years has meant we have been unable to carry out our usual fundraising events. Despite this, we are still working hard to ensure that we bring much needed sparkle to our villages with our Christmas Lights. This years ‘Switch-On’ will be on Sunday 28 November at 4.30pm. It will be a smaller affair than pre-pandemic but we would love you all to come along. Again, we will be encouraging you to switch on your own festive lights at the same time and #LightUpSteeton&EastburnAGAIN

As face-to-face fundraising has again been limited, we are promoting this page as a way for our local community to show its support for the Christmas lights. It costs thousands of pounds each year for the small voluntary group to ensure the Christmas lights sparkle throughout the festive period.
