Story
I, as many of you know..have had diabetes for 22 years. Last year I discovered I have pre-proliferative retinopathy in one eye...this can lead to blindness..
I have just heard of a revolutionary new treatment called Nocture 400, which is an eye mask, worn each night..that can prevent and even reverse diabetic eye damage. I am desperate to try it. But..it's expensive..£250 every three months. I want to save my sight. A close friend is kindly helping me fund the first three months..as I am low waged, this amount of money is out of my range..so I am asking for help to fund this treatment..My eyes are precious, and I will do whatever I can to try and raise money for this...I will have to raise £1000 every year, for the rest of my life...please help, if you can..

8 years agoJust to say I have now started the first three months of this treatment... I'm just over a week in..it's been hard learning to sleep with this mask on, beaming green light at me!! But I will do anything to help my sight..I won't be tested for four or five months so won't know it's effect till then..as ever..I am so grateful to everyone who has helped me and generously donated so far... This will be a treatment for life.. So please donate if you can..thank you..
