My name is Bethan. This is me on the left .I'm 14. I've been given the chance to go to Borneo. Whilst there, I will work on a variety of community projects in an area called Sabah. I know I am lucky. I have clean water and I go to a great school. I think it will be good for me to go. I am willing to work hard to renovate communal buildings such as the local school and create pathways so journeys are easier. I will also be responsible for conservation projects in the jungle. I am nervous but really want the opportunity to test myself. I want to see what I am truly capable of. I'm a dancer and am often involved dancing out raising money for good causes locally. Last year, I took part in the Alzheimer's Walk in memory of my Grandad. This year, I'm fundraising for my trip as I have to raise the money myself. It will be around £4000 for me to take part. I am grateful for any donation you wish to give. I know I can make a small difference and learn lots of new things at the same time. Experiencing Borneo, its culture and meeting the people will be life-changing for me. I'm only 14 and as yet, I'm unsure what I want to do in the future. This expedition may show me a skill or a talent that I haven't discovered yet. I'd like to find out so please help me if you can. Thank you.
