    Story

Carlos is one of the most inspiring people I have met and never fails to surprise me with his continuous drive and aspirations to support and motivate children in rural Zambia to achieve their hopes and dreams despite coming from an environment where day to day living can be a challenge.
To be able to help Carlos and his passion to help his community in rural Zambia in any way would make a big difference to the young community of Mfuwe.
If anyone can make a difference, Carlos can!

A Failure in Formal Education is not Failure in Life

People around the world are realising that non-academic achievements are as important and can make a difference as much as academic achievements. It is vitally important to recognise those who may not have had the opportunity of formal education can still offer so much to the community, we only need to give them the opportunity.

This projects aims mainly to create financially benefiting activities for those who could not finishing their secondary degree no matter the reason.

Many people in our community work in tourist related activities since we are in the South Luangwa National Park area, but other ignore the benefits of conserving wildlife. As a result of unemployment, people are tempted to poach and sell the meat to fulfil their needs. The introduction of this project will create self-employment. Providing the valley with activities that generates money will keep the community buddy hence poaching will be reduced.

We have identified some activities and still to discover more that can benefit the community at large.
