My name is Lisa McGivern and me and my best friend Stacey Haynes have decided to do a quite hard challenge for us and that is to give up chocolate 🍫 for lent. Lent is from the 1st march until 13th April 2017. We are doing this to raise money for my cousin Jack Mudd's charity. My cousin Jack was killed on the 4th October 2015 in a car accident. Jack was an amazing golfer who had an amazing career ahead of him. In Jack's memory my aunty Ann and uncle Dave along with Knebworth Golf Club set up this charity. Jack was a loving and caring boy who always looked after others, especially children less fortunate then him. Golf is very expensive, so Jack's charity enables children less fortunate to play golf for free.
Anyone that knows me knows how much my heart was broken the day Jack passed away. I do a lot for charity due to my sons disability but this time I am challenging myself for Jack.
Anyone that knows me knows I love a challenge and I never give up easy. Stacey doesnt quite have the same willpower but I know she will do it for me and Jack. I am not going to lie this will be a challenge as I eat at least 2 bars of chocolate a day. So please help support me and stacey by donating what you can for this amazing charity.
