Lowerhouses is a residential area on the south side of Huddersfield. Like us, there are lots of young families who live in the area, mostly low income and many without transport. It's a fab community where you get to know many of the people who live round you, and like anywhere, it's really important to have somewhere to connect with other parents whilst the kids play. Little Lambz (of Lowerhouses) is our preschool drop-in play group, facilitated my Wendy who works for the charity Worth Unlimited. However, we rely on fundraising for refreshments and new toys/ activities/ outside organisations to come in.
