This June i'm working with the charity Global Brigades in Honduras to help provide primary health care to remote, rural communities with little access to medical care. The medical supplies required will total £1,000 for each volunteer, without which we would not be able to provide help.

Over the course of this April I will be swimming the width of the English channel (22 miles) in an attempt to gain sponsorship. This is equivalent to 1,416 lengths (50 lengths every day!). Although my Biomed degree has prepared me for the medical aspect, i'm also learning Spanish to communicate with the locals.. which should be interesting..

I'd be really grateful for any sponsorship as without, I will not be able to help these communities which so desperately need medical care.
