Story
We want to look outwards at this time and raise funds for two local charities that will be so necessary in the aftermath of all that is coronavirus.
Mental ill health affected 1 in 4 adults pre-pandemic. It is clear that, with rising rates of unemployment and isolation, poor mental health will continue to increase too so we want to support our local MIND as they respond to the needs of our city. https://www.sgmind.org.uk
With ongoing redundancies and unemployment, the new CAP debt centre couldn't be more timely. We have the opportunity to raise money for the 'Blessing Fund' which enables CAP to meet immediate needs of their clients and gives hope for the future. https://capuk.org
As a community we will be climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest! Yes, that's right, all 8,848 glorious metres of it via our stairs at home!
Please support us and our jellied legs as we embark on this feat as a community!
